On the afternoon of June 10, 2017, “Keeping Teachers in Mind, and Pursuing Dreams in Distance”—the 2017 Graduation Ceremony of the High School Affiliated to Shanghai University was held in the lecture hall.

When we reviewed the journey of the past three years, the photos were like a long song with dreams and expectations. The 2017 Graduation Ceremony not only contained the blessings from schools, teachers and classmates, but also received the blessings of parents. More than 50 parents of high school graduates were invited to attend the ceremony. They witnessed the deep love between teachers and students, and gave flowers to head teachers who worked hard in the past years. When the grade leader Wang Haiyan reviewed the past three years; when all the teachers of the third grade accepted the thanks of the students; when the vice president Zhou Xiaolan gave a heartfelt speech; when Lu Guanghua, the principal of the school, issued a diploma for each high school graduate, everyone at present was deeply moved. “Gratefulness, Growth and Harvest” is the common aspiration of all high school graduates. As Zhou Xiaolan said, it was a transition of past to future as the first reform of Shanghai college entrance examination.

Graduation is not a real departure, but a beginning of new life. Every high school graduate should deal with hardships bravely and strongly, meet the test of life with optimism and tolerance, absorb the cultural heritage of the school and pursue the “happy life” in the future with the spirit of “Morality and Ambition”.
