At the beginning of July 2017, a group of 22 teachers and students from the High School Affiliated to Shanghai University came to Jingdezhen, the “Ceramics Capital”, to conduct a field research. This activity is the first field research of the project “the Application of Chinese Ancient Ceramics Researches in the Cultivation of High School Students’ Innovative Ability” in the High School Affiliated to Shanghai University. The teachers and students have visited Jingdezhen Chinese Ceramics Museum, Ancient Kiln Folklore Expo Area, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, Chinese Arts and Crafts Master Liu Yuanchang’s Studio, Royal Kiln Factory Site, and experienced the ceramic craft in pottery workshops.
