The High School Affiliated to Shanghai University is a sister school with Little Red School House and Elisabeth Irwin High School in New York, USA. In October 2017, a delegation of 21 teachers and students from the High School Affiliated to Shanghai University went to the United States for a 10-day visit.

In this trip to the United States, the most desirable thing for students is to come to the sister school, Little Red School House and Elisabeth Irwin High School (LREI), where they walk into the classroom and truly experience all-dimensional American teaching style.
